Slackline Aluminum Carabiner Screw Nut

An oval Carabiner with a gate opening of 20 mm. Breaking strength of 24 kN and a weight of only 78 gr. Made of high-tenacity anodized aluminum, in lime colour for the body and dark grey for the lever. The symmetrical oval shape, larger than the classic oval one, guarantees a better webbing position when scrolling.

The aluminum makes this carabiner very lightweight.

How to use these carabiners?

The oval shape is designed to be used in linear load, for example when you create a primitive pulley system with your slackline.

Why carabiners must be used only in 2-axial loading?

The carabiners are designed to link two elements, working only in 2-axial loading directions on the rounded part of the carabiner.

If you use a carabiner as the main anchor of your longline, with a sling around the tree, you are working in tri-directional load. This way is allowed only with less than 4 kN working limit load (equivalent to the strength of a person pulling a primitive system) and with the working angle of the slings around the tree lower than 30°.

Do not ruin your slackline with any carabiner

This carabiner has KEY-LOCK system (catch-free) so the contact point between the gate and the body is completely smooth, without any hook for gate lever. The KEY-LOCK system avoids any damage to your webbing when opening or closing the gate.

Warning

This carabiner is not compatible with 50 mm webbing. Do not use it for trickline or jump lines. Do not use this carabiner for climbing.

Do not exceed 4 kN working limit load in the system. Do not exceed a working angle of 30° with slings around the tree. In case of any doubt replace carabiner with a SHACKLE designed for tri-directional load.
